Technical description Renault 16 TS 1968 REAR SUSPENSION The rear torsion bars are not like the front types placed in the length but in the width of the vehicle, thus causing left and right a different wheelbase. The torsion bars are being welded onto wheel suspension arms. The bars themselves are at there ends mounted in rubber bushes. The anti-roll bar diminishes the ‘hanging’ of the car in curves, but also plays an important role concerning the rear breaking system.
